Myofascial release vs. deep tissue massage: a New Orleans bodyworker of 20 years on how each feels, how they differ, and what your body may need.

Therapeutic massage in New Orleans for chronic pain, tension, pregnancy, postpartum and menopause, from a bodyworker with 20 years of experience.

I’m a Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Decongestive Therapist with 20 years of hands-on practice in New Orleans. For 12 of those years, I’ve also worked as a full spectrum doula, walking alongside women through the tender transformations of life. As a mother of three, I know firsthand how much a woman’s body changes across pregnancy, birth, and the years that follow. Two decades of hands-on work have taught me how the body speaks. Now I bring that together with Chinese food therapy and Qigong, so women can learn to care for themselves through every season of life. Here in the journal, I share what my hands and years have taught me, so you can tend your body well through every season.
No 30-day challenges, no hacks. Just steady, practical ways to care for your body through postpartum, perimenopause, and everything in between.
